Anja Visini is an architect and a jewelry designer.

Since 2007 she has been alternatively working with renowned firms such as Estudio Mariscal and MiAS Arquitectes in Barcelona, Barreca & La Varra, Spada e Associati and Luca Molinari in Milan, Teğet Mimarlik and Salon Architects in Istanbul, and as a freelance professional.

An interdisciplinary approach and the research of the dissolution of traditional borders in the professional activity characterize her work, that ranges from curatorship to graphic design, from jewelry design toward architecture.

Her interest for jewelry started in 2009 when she attended a course about investment casting with Anna Panyella (Escola Massana, Barcelona).

From 2010 to 2012 she has been regularly assisting Pier Giorgio Gatti, metalsmith in Bergamo, Italy and attending courses about modeling in wax for jewelry and miniature sculpture at the Associazione Artigiani Bergamo.
In 2011 she created NIM contemporary jewelry as a personal project.

In 2012 she moved to Istanbul where she met Ricky Semerciyan and Sera Kanpulat, founders of 2.26 Istanbul, a fine jewelry firm specialized in producing original moving jewels. For them, she realized a minimal interior showroom project and then she started collaborting as a jewelry designer for the ideation phase, producing sketches and supporting Ricky’s creativity.

After coming and going too many times, she definitely moved back to Milan in September 2018.
